Was I Dating An Alien?
I'm a fairly ordinary guy, but after two weeks of dating Triffy, things just didn't seem very ordinary anymore. I had taken a girl named Barbra to a drive in movie. Not sure if they still have drive in movies anymore today, but back in the 70's they still had a few drive in movies left in California along with the left over Chariots. Barbra asked, "would you get me some buttered pop corn and a Coke?"
With a smile, I said,"sure." I headed over to the pop corn stand and it was lust at first site. It seemed as if her eyes were sparkling.
Her blouse and skirt were skin tight. She asked,"are you from around here?" I've never noticed you before." I laughed and replied, "I'm from a far away planet they call New York." She smiled radiantly and said, "I'm from a far away planet to, but I got stuck here for a while." "Missed the ride back on the space ship," I joked. "Something like that," she said smiling. "I'm supposed to be in Europe, but the Navy stuck me out here on the left...

(ContentDesk) September 7, 2005 -- With The DROPS, there is no longer a need to be concerned about embarrassing bathroom odors."Just add a few drops of The DROPS to the toilet bowl water before using and there is no odor," says William Edwards, owner of Toilex, LLC, manufacturers of the product."Our patent pending formula is scientifically formulated to neutralize foul toilet odor before it begins," according to Edwards, who also invented the product. "The DROPS attacks the source of the odor and eliminates it rather than masking it like the standard air fresheners and candles."Since a bottle of The DROPS is small enough to fit into pocket or purse, it can be taken anywhere there is a toilet, he says. 10 Things You Can Do Now To Prepare For Hurricane Season
The 2005 hurricane season is right around the corner and runs for six months from June 1, 2005 to November 30, 2005. According to a recent survey from the National Hurricane Survival Initiative, the residents in hurricane prone states -- from Maine to Texas -- aren't anywhere near prepared for what they might face. Here are 10 quick tips to help you prepare.1. During the off season is the time to stock up on supplies -- batteries, water and non-perishable food. Buy a small plastic carrying case for your important papers. Keep it filled and updated during hurricane season so all you have to do is grab and go if you have to evacuate.3. Save that ice. At the beginning of hurricane season start using that ice that builds up in your icemaker. Fill up several plastic bags with ice and store them in your freezer.4.
Have at least two coolers. One for drinks and one for food....
